Hi, I’m Alin!
and these are the moments that shaped me. A few years ago I learnt that I love expressing emotions through films. I feel like there is something magical about immortalising the best moments in our lives, through images.
It all started when I was 15 years old, and I was introduced to music and was captured completely by it. What I felt at that time was so similar to what I feel now. Music became part of my life, and for a few good years I had the honour to create music myself, for people.
The simple fact that I was seeing those coming to listen to my music, expressing sincere contentment and out of the blue reactions was filling my heart with joy, was making me utterly happy. I learnt then, that I was enjoying so much to make people feel good around me and spread some emotions.
This passion for making music eventually evolved into a love for filmmaking. I realized that the emotions and messages I conveyed through music could also be expressed through the power of visual storytelling. This realization led me to pursue formal studies in film at the university level.
At first my vision was directed towards a different area, I wanted to become a filmmaker and devote my passion to creating good, life lasting films and be recognised for this, and I want to continue to believe that this will indeed happen one day, but then I came to realise that the wedding industry can be as well perfect to exhaust this passion. I am confident that with a little bit of work and inspiration, I can turn the story of two lovers into something that will stand out and truly express the emotions that exist between them, I can visually express the real emotions they will experience on their wedding day and which, I am hoping, will take with them for the rest of their life.
I know that love and relationships can be inspiring, warm and truly beautiful, so I just want to bring these to life, I want that those who will look at their wedding film after few good years, will see their beauty, their young and transparent love captured visually and to bring them joy, to make them cherish those and understand how precious their wedding day was and how unbelievably that day led to a life lived together.
I couldn't have achieved this without the support and trust of Ana: the one who listens to all my wild ideas and somehow still says, ‘‘Sure let’s do it!’’ We’re building something special together both in life and in our creative ventures. She’s the flower whisperer, turning nature into art. The mastermind behind her own business ‘‘nostalgic flowers’’ creating art from pressed flowers. She’s the go-to for stunning wedding veils and one-of-a-kind frames. I’m just here cheering her on occasionally throwing in some crazy ideas.
